Wow it has been a LONG Time!!

Ben and I celebrated our 1 year annniversary yesterday! Much has happened since our last post; which is embarrasingly from September of last year. We both finished our last seasons of our respective sports, got hired to coach at Southern Virginia University (Ben as runningbacks coach, and me as assistant cross country coach), Ben got an internship with the Institute for Justice this summer, and we both walked at graduation!

THE BIG WIN!!!!! SVU vs. Lincoln

We had such a great weekend!!! SVU Football played Lincoln and killed them! The score was 55-25 but would have been 55(or more)- 7. At half it was 42-7. After the first two series in the second half, second string was put in. Ben played GREAT and I, of course, screamed GREAT! What a great home opener!!!

My first race

I had my first race today. I have been injured for several weeks now and have not been able to do the workouts with my team. I wanted to race and see how I could do and it wasn't bad. Our girls got 5th out of 10 teams. I finished in the top six on our team. I thought it was a good start to my season.

The Knight's First Game!!!!

The knights started their season with a hard game! SVU is a NAIA school and we played Moorhead State, a D1 School. We played hard but it just wasn't our night. We're playing Lincoln tonight, it will be a really fun game!!!
